The international break is finally over and Chelsea fans have been anticipating the recovery of several stars returning from injury.
Preparations for Chelsea’s trip to Newcastle have been handed a boost with the latest images released recently. As well as Cole Palmer’s return from international duty and Gusto’s return from injury there’s a possibility of a Premier League debut being handed out in the coming days.
France international, Christopher Nkunku was spotted in training today with the group which will bring a welcome site to Pochettino after being dealt a huge blow just days before the opening game of season.

Whether the former RB Leipzig man is ready to play on Saturday, still remains unknown so all eyes will be on the club and Pochettino ahead of Saturday. Either way, it has been 112 days since Nkunku limped off in Chicago and this is the closest point of his return.
Surely it’s just a matter of time now before we see those balloons blown at Stamford Bridge.
