Chelsea resume Premier League action this weekend and the latest news out of Stamford Bridge is a positive one for Chelsea fans.
Nkunku’s long awaited debut might just be around the corner as earlier this morning he was pictured in first team training. The Sky Sports cameras caught the former Leipzig forward amongst the group but it’s not all good news heading into the Brighton encounter.
Chelsea’s weekly injury report includes six blues absent with a further player still 5050.
The following Chelsea players that will miss the Brighton clash due to injury are; Lavia, Gusto, Chalobah, Chilwell, Chukwuemeka and Fofana. On top of those six players, Cucurella and James will join them on the sidelines due to mandatory suspension.
One player who did appear on the injury report but not completely ruled out was Nkunku, Pochettino told the media that he will “be assessed” tomorrow. Mind games or a potential late call?
